Vishal Kudav, MD

Dr. Vishal Kudav is a board-certified general surgeon with fellowship training in minimally invasive bariatric surgery. He performs sleeve gastrectomy, Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, revisional bariatric surgery, endobariatric procedures, anti-reflux surgery, paraesophageal/hiatal hernia repair, and surgical repair of abdominal wall hernias utilizing laparoscopic, endoscopic and robotic techniques. Dr. Kudav grew up in northeast Ohio, where he obtained his medical degree at Northeast Ohio Medical University. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Missouri - Columbia before moving to Houston, TX where he completed a fellowship in minimally invasive bariatric and robotic surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston/McGovern Medical School. There, he trained with leaders in the field of robotic and bariatric surgery. He is now a private practice surgeon in the Twin Cities of Minnesota. Dr. Kudav serves to care for his patients with the same values he cares for his own family. His goal is to ensure a successful outcome for all of his patients so that they may continue to live a healthy and prosperous life for years after their surgery. In his spare time, Dr. Kudav enjoys watching and playing soccer, skiing, traveling the world with his wife, and exploring all the great restaurants around the Twin Cities with his family.
