Sheilendra Mehta, MD

Dr. Mehta is a board-certified surgeon in Houston, Texas who specializes in minimally invasive bariatric surgery and treatment for acid reflux, GERD, and heartburn. At Texas Laparoscopic Consultants, he offers a full range of bariatric surgery, including gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, and gastric banding, as well as non-surgical weight loss procedures such as gastric balloon and Endoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty (ESG). Dr. Mehta graduated with honors from Texas Tech University and went on to earn his medical degree from The University of Texas Health Medical School at Houston McGovern Medical School. Dr. Mehta is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, and he is a member of The Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.
