Robert Woodbury, MD

B.S. Pre-med Biology 1988 from Boise State University. M.D. 1992, from Uniformed Services University. Residency Naval Medical Center San Diego. Bariatric training with Pacific bariatric group at Scripps Mercy Hospital, and with Dr Matt Brunson at Scripps Green Torrey Pines. Served in the Navy for 16 years, and moved to Sonoma county in 2004. Currently practicing a mixture of MIS Bariatric/GI/Oncologic surgery. I developed our bariatric program at Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital in 2004, and have grown it over time. Our metabolic and bariatric institute includes surgeons, medical bariatricians, registered dieticians, exercise specialists, and mental health providers. We offer surgical and medical therapy, and are an accredited comprehensive center by MBSAQIP.
