I am a pediatric general surgeon dual board certified in adult and peditric general surgery. I have performed bariatric surgery since 2001. My key distinguishing factor is that we use a cognitive behavioral carbohydrate addiction treatment paradigm using LCHF_IF or Low Carb Healthy Fat Intermittent Fasting as the foundation to help our patients not only lose weight but also deal with the emotional causes of their obesity.
