Rebecca Grace Lopez, MD, earned her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed her residency in General Surgery at Emory University and her fellowship in Minimally Invasive Bariatric and Foregut Surgery at the University of Washington. She received her dual undergraduate degree in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology and Music Performance from Emory University and is board certified in general surgery.
Dr. Lopez specializes in the multi-disciplinary treatment and management of morbid obesity. She is an active member of multiple surgical societies: American College of Surgeons, American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons, and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.
