I have been practicing at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center since 1997. I have been the Director of surgical weight loss at EMMC for 15years. I pioneered robotic weight loss surgery in 2004 being the first surgeon in the world to perform a weight loss surgery with robotic assistance. EMMC added medical weight management services 10 years ago and I became a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine in 2019. I believe in a comprehensive approach to weight management. I love having the opportunity to help patients regain their physical and mental wellness through surgery.
