Juaquito Jorge, MD FACS DABOM

I am a high volume, private practice surgeon double board-certified in both general surgery and obesity medicine. I have completed fellowship training in metabolic/ bariatric surgery, and have an accomplished, versatile, and solid career history employing medical expertise within hospital and clinical settings. My particular aptitude is in bariatric, robotic, minimally invasive, general, and advanced endoscopy specializations. To date, I’ve completed fellowships and residencies with such noteworthy hospitals as Northwestern Memorial, University of South Florida, and Cook County Hospital. My professional foundation was in serving in the US military as an active duty Navy Corpsman; through which I refined relationship management and cultural awareness skills. I possess additional qualifications in emergency response as a paramedic. I am an active researcher with a lengthy repertoire of publications, presentations, and ongoing projects. My current research focus is on metabolic surgery. I am licensed to practice in the state of Illinois.
