Holly Bernard, MD

A New England native, Dr. Bernard grew up in New Hampshire. She studied at Boston University, where she earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees before heading West to earn her MD at California Northstate University. Upon graduation, she returned to Boston to complete her general surgery residency at Boston Medical Center Brighton. Inspired by her patients and mentors, she chose to pursue fellowship training in bariatric surgery, which she is completing at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital. She is passionate about education of trainees and patients alike, empowering them to make informed decisions for long-term success inside and outside the operating room. In her spare time, she enjoys going to concerts, being outdoors, and spending time with her family and her cat, Mini.
