Emily Gath, PA-C

I’m Emily Gath, a Certified Physician Assistant and graduate of Presbyterian College’s Physician Assistant program. My career in healthcare began long before becoming a PA, first as a Certified Nursing Assistant and later through my experience in public health and emergency medicine. These experiences have given me a broad perspective on patient care and have shaped my approach to caring for patients with compassion, understanding, and respect.

I’m passionate about helping patients improve their health and quality of life, especially through bariatric and weight management care. I know that every patient’s journey is different, and I believe our role is to support patients without judgment while helping them find realistic and sustainable ways to reach their goals.

I also believe that quality healthcare should be accessible to everyone. I’m committed to helping make care approachable and available to the patients who need it, regardless of where they are in their health journey. I value working as part of a multidisciplinary team and collaborating with physicians, APPs, nurses, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to provide thoughtful, well-rounded care. I’m grateful to be part of a team that works together to help patients achieve meaningful, lasting improvements in their health and well-being.
