As the owner of Las Vegas Bariatrics, Dr. Bernie Hanna, is a well-respected Las Vegas bariatric surgeon. He is also the Medical director for North Vista Hospital an MBSAQIP Bariatric accredited facility in Las Vegas.
Having practiced in the Las Vegas Valley since 2000, Dr. Hanna and Las Vegas Bariatrics strive to create a service-oriented environment focused on quality and commitment.

Dr. Hanna served as assistant clinical professor for the University of Nevada School of Medicine. He also served as part of the trauma surgery team at University Medical Center.
Dr. Hanna completed his undergraduate work at Barry University in Miami, Florida and graduated from Howard University Medical School and General Surgery residency program.
Dr. Hanna received “Top Surgeon” honors in 2002, 2003, 2011 and achieved the “Top Doctor” award for 2006, 2007, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2020 and 2021. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Surgeons, a member of The American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons, American College of Surgeons, Nevada State Medical Association and the Clark County Medical Society. Awarded Master Surgeon in Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery 2022.
