Ayaa Ali, MBBS MSc

Dr. Ayaa Ali is a dedicated and accomplished surgery resident, originally hailing from Sudan. Born and raised in this culturally rich country, Ayaa's pursuit of excellence and thirst for knowledge were evident from an early age. Ayaa's academic journey began at the University of Khartoum, where she graduated as the Valedictorian from the Faculty of Medicine. This achievement set the tone for her future endeavors, where she was granted a scholarship from the University of Edinburgh, where she earned a Master's degree in Human Anatomy. This was followed by a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Professions Education from the University of Glasgow, further enhancing her academic portfolio and equipping her with the necessary skills to excel in her interest in Medical Education. Currently, Ayaa is a third-year surgery resident at Wellspan York Hospital. Her interests lie in Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS), endoscopic and bariatric surgery alongside Medical Education. She aspires to incorporating the latest medical advancements into her future practice, ensuring the best possible outcomes for her patients.
