Dr. McCluney is a surgeon in the Dept of Surgery at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boston and Assistant Professor of Surgery at Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. McCluney earned his medical degree at Harvard Medical School and completed his residency in General Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. He then completed a fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. McCluney is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a fellow of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, and a member of numerous professional organizations regionally and nationally. Special clinical interests include robotic surgery, obesity surgery, and foregut surgery, surgical quality and safety.
